Responsibilities
- Work closely with developers, designers, analysts, managers in a Scrum team.
- Test current products and identify deficiencies.
- Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs.
- Suggest solutions to identified product problems.
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
- Plan, create and manage testing documentation - checklists, test cases, etc.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent sprint execution.
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.
- In-depth understanding of the full product development life cycle.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- Experience with testing Web applications
- Rich experience in functional testing and test case creation
- Strong theoretical knowledge in Software testing
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience with a variety of different testing techniques
- Experience with software QA tools and processes
- Working knowledge of the general client-server architecture, IT-landscape, trends, and emerging technologies
- Critical thinker, and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- English lvl B1+ - read project documentation, write test documentation, understand spoken English
Nice to have:
- API testing experience
- Familiarity with Automated testing (specifically in Java). Our stack: Selenium, Java, Maven, Selenide, TestNG, Allure, REST Assured
- Experience working in remote teams
- Experience testing mobile applications
Conditions

- Long-term contract with QIC
- Payment in US dollars
- Full-time work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday
- Main work timezone GMT+3
- Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 20 workdays of vacation, and 10 sick-day-offs
- Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise in March and September
- In future, optional: potential of getting Qatar ID and relocation to Doha, Qatar
