Responsibilities
- Work closely with developers, designers, analysts, managers in a Scrum team
- Test the mobile application and identify deficiencies
- Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs
- Suggest solutions to identified product problems
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
- Plan, create and manage testing documentation — checklists, test cases, etc
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent sprint execution
- Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement
- In-depth understanding of the full product development life cycle
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Participate in future test automation activities (native Android and iOS autotests)
- Test API — manual and automation
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer for mobile applications
- Rich experience in functional testing and test case creation
- Strong theoretical knowledge in Software testing
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience with a variety of different testing techniques
- Experience with software QA tools and processes
- Working knowledge of the general client-server architecture, IT-landscape, trends, and emerging technologies
- Strong knowledge of Android and iOS related cases and industry guidelines
- Critical thinker, and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- English lvl at least B1 — read project documentation, write test documentation, understand spoken English
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Automated testing — either Web apps, or mobile apps automation
- Experience working in remote teams
- Experience testing Web applications and backend
Conditions
- Service agreement and work remotely
- Payment in US dollars monthly
- Full-time 5/2 and Arabic work week Sunday-Thursday
