Startup inside a corporation Qatar Insurance Company (QIC Group) — a leading player in the insurance market in MENA Region (Qatar, UAE, Oman, Kuwait), with more than half a century of experience in the field of insurance and an "A" rating from S&P. We create the best insurance services on the market and we use a product approach.

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to QIC App division. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret large customer datasets to support product and business decisions
• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Tableau or Google Looker Studio
• Conduct data profiling, validation, and modeling to ensure data quality and reliability
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, simplifying complex technical concepts
  

Skills

• At least 4-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Skills in Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast, validate, and model data effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience presenting to non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• Experience in building ML models
• Familiarity with A/B testing
