Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of automation QA engineers, providing guidance and support across different projects
• Ensure proficiency in Java as the main programming language for test automation
• Oversee and be accountable for all test automation activities within the QA unit
• Develop, implement, and maintain an Appium-based test automation framework for iOS and Android apps from scratch
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless software delivery
• Design and execute automated tests
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality and efficiency in the software development lifecycle
• Develop and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of the test automation
• Ensure the quality and efficiency of automation scripts through regular code reviews and optimization strategies
• Establish and maintain best practices for test automation
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in test automation to drive continuous improvement

• Proven experience as a Lead Automation QA Engineer or similar role in a software development environment
• Extensive experience with such technology as Java, Selenium, Appium, REST Assured
• Strong experience in Web, API, or Mobile app test automation
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities

• Long-term service agreement contract with QIC
